A few thoughts...

Welcome to my first blog post! Let's get right to business, shall we? I promise I'll make it short and sweet and hopefully you won't fall asleep by the time you're done reading this :)

So people have asked me why I decided to get into food photography and I always tell them - "because it lets me be more creative". Plus I have discovered that many business owners such as cake bakers, chefs, caterers, etc. might underestimate the importance of having good quality photos on their website - it is the first thing the customer sees when he/she visits their website. In this day and age everyone shops online first before they get in their car and drive around looking for the best deal. I am sure the first thing these customers are looking at is the artists' portfolio. For example if I were to buy a wedding cake, I would want to see what sort of cakes the baker makes before going to the store. Wouldn't you do the same?

Well, that's my thought of the day. Hope you have a good one!
P.S. Check out my latest cake shot :
